Android Central Question

While at school the other day I noticed my phone ( an LGG4 ) had disconnected from the school wifi, I didn't think too much into it as it happened sometimes. However once I got home, it never connected to my home wifi. When I went into the wifi settings to select my home network, no open networks were there, just continual searching for wifi networks.

I ended up looking up possible fixes but none of them worked; simple reset, total reset of my phone, manually entering the networks, etc. Nothing works.
Now tonight, it actually found the network, connected for about 3-5 seconds and then my wifi turned itself off, back on and there were no available networks again. It did this about 4-5 times before it finally stopped connecting.

And now I'm here, begging for a fix. It's really annoying me and I have to use my data for anything. Pleaase please help!!

Welcome to Android Central! Does this happen in Safe Mode as well? https://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-28997. Is this a carrier-branded phone, or did you get it unlocked? If it's carrier-branded, which carrier? If it's Verizon, then you could try using their Software Repair Assistant, in case there's a problem with the firmware.

It's with virgin, and having it in safe mode doesn't help. It will connect for like maybe 15 seconds and then it turns back off and can't find the network even though I know that it's up and working as my laptop is connected ! It won't connect at school either ahhg
