Is there another way to close recent apps besides the button?

Just ran the system update for Android, and now my recent apps button doesn't work. Doesn't even light up when I touch it, but does light up when using other phone functions.

Home Button or Back Button will take you out of recent apps

Welcome to the forums. What phone do you have and what system update did you get?

The Home button will take you to your home screen, but the app will keep running. The Back button will back you out of an app (effectively closing it). Since you can's access your recently used list, it doesn't matter what's shown on it.

I'm running 7.0 on the S7 and had the update today. All buttons are fine. What phone and system did you update?
