Why does my screen rotate when I click on a picture in certain apps?

[Android Central Question]

Im using a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4. My screen rotates from wide screen to the long screen when I click on a picture in certain apps. (Facebook & Pinterest for instance) My auto rotate is off. Is it possible somethings changed as if im using a phone....but I don't know which app it possibly can be. How would I even check that. I'm confused as to why it would start doing that as Ive not added any new apps.
