Does your SIM card seem much larger than the slot in your phone? You might need to get a new one from your mobile carrier.

Is it a new SIM card? My carrier (T-Mobile USA) provides SIM cards that will fit into any SIM slot, provided you punch the card out of its holder correctly. Perhaps your carrier does something similar?

Most SIM cards these days are 3-way - you snap off enough of the outside to fit regular, micro or nano slots. You probably just have to snap off one more level. (If your carrier has a store, bring the phone and the card in and ask them to do it for you (if you break it, you pay for a new one - if they break it, they give you a new one for free).
