Wht do text msg turn different colors

My msg turns from green to yellow to blue? Why?

Welcome to the forums! What kind of phone are you using, and are you using the texting application that came with your phone? Generally, sender and receiver text messages will be different colours. Is this just happening to your texts, or to your incoming messages as well?
