I set a password but Samsung S6 not recognising it

I put a fingerprint on for Samsung Pay but it's such a pain I tried to take it off again but fingerprint and password remain. I want to get in to take password off but it won't let me in if I don't know password. Please help

I don't know about Samsung's app, but Google's app doesn't allow you to run without fingerprint or password security. (If your phone gets lost and someone finds it, they can run up quite a large bill before you freeze your credit card - if there's no security on the app.) PIN, Swipe and None are about the least secure things you can do (there are only 10,000 possible PINs) so it requires a fingerprint and, in case something happens to your fingerprint (even if you've been in the water long enough for your finger to wrinkle, some fingerprint readers have a problem), a password.
