I recently removed Android System Web Viewer because it was causing me to get,
" message loading" when trying to reply to emails. I didn't remove it but disabled it which supposedly rolled it back to a previous version. Anyway, afterwards, whenever I get a new mail notice, my phone will now make a very high pitched "ting" sound. This is on an S5 with ATT service. I have tried to change email notice sound but the one it is set to is not what I hear. The sound I hear is not found in any of the notification sounds on my phone.

Welcome to Android Central! You're talking about Android System Webview (not Web Viewer), correct? How do you know that was causing the issue? It's generally not advisable to uninstall updates or disable that component, since it's important for security as well.

If you re-update Android System Webview, does the tone go back to normal?
