Can't set voicemail answer time LGK20+ Metro PCS

Tried several times to do the *#61# thing to change time for voicemail to answer.
Keep getting the following message:
"call forwarding when no reply
Voice: Not forwarded"

What the heck does that mean and how do I resolve this?

If your voicemail app does not support this feature, you may need to use the "call in" interface for your carrier's voicemail system.

You can also call your carrier's customer service. This is a very common request that users make.
