I use my Dragonfly Red daily on my laptop for work - with my Sennheiser IE 80 S's I am treated to awesome undistorted sound quality.
Plugging into my Pixel2 however gives me a very different experience. Using the prescribed solution of using USB Audio Player PRO (the only way to play through a DAC without rooting the device) the sound is terrible and muddy - in fact, it sounds better just using the usb to headphone adapter

* The sound is indeed playing through the external DAC, since it gives me the option of changing hardware sound levels in UAPP.
Does anyone have a similar experience? It's quite frustrating, especially after paying $10+ for UAPP :/
