During calling to customer care he is asking to enter the first 4 digit of Pan followed by the DOB. I don't know how to press alphabet because there is no option of write alphabet
The date of birth could be expressed as digits, as in mine: 31/02/1834; or 02/31/1834, depending on the custom of the country you are in. It does not have to be 31st February 1834. Is that what you mean?
And February 31, 1834 (we're both very old) would normally be entered, on a phone call, as 02311834 or, depending on the formatting used in your country, 31021834 - the separator is normally ignored (by the software reading your input) because phones are supposed to only have touchtone ability, and there's no "/" or "-" on a touchtone pad. It's (again, depending on the custom in your country) MMDDYYYY or DDYYMMMM (month, day year or day, month, year).
