So my Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge got water damage. One night I said screw it and plugged it in to see if it would work for some reason.

To my surprise the charging animation lit up and it started charging while knowing the percentage and if it was fast charging or not.

I held down the power button to turn it on, but the animation froze then went to black. It than proceeded to start charging again. Anyone have any ideas? I just want some photos off it.

No, sorry. If it's been wet inside for more than a minute or two, there's no way to save it. Read Oh, no! My Phone got Wet! Since there's no external SD card in an S6, the pictures used to be in internal storage. They're long gone.

(BTW, charging a wet phone is a sure way to make sure that there's nothing left in the case but damaged hardware.)
