I noticed earlier this week that my recordings had this painful high pitch sound and nothing else. I just thought that it was an issue with snapchat but after using the phones recorder all I could hear is that high pitch sound, couldnt hear my voice over it or anything. The phone is a huawei cun l01 and I've had it for little more than a year. Is there anything I can do about this or should I just go get a new phone ? Thank you for your time

Accessing the mic in an Android phone is a bit tricky, software-wise. If the mic is working in phone calls, try a different recorder app. (Samsung is notorious for that - in all the years I used Samsung phones, I found only one app that could record the mic side of a phone conversation.)

There are a lot of free voice recorder apps. Start trying them, one at a time, until you find one that works.
