Android Central Question

I have a HTC U11+ running on an Android 8.0 . I have tried find a way to block wangiri calls with a certain pattern , for instance all calls starting with country code +212 but there seem not to be any way built into the phone. There are a blocked number function in the U11 but this refers to an explicit number and not patterns.

If you go into the blocked number , then add number , the keypad popup also have W P N along with the standard numbers , can they be used in any hidden way??

It sounds like HTC omitted that feature from it’s dialed app. In fact, I can’t recall the last time I saw that feature in an Android smartphone. If memory serves me correctly, either LG or Samsung included it at some point, but evidently not HTC. It might be possible to do what you’d like with a third party dealer app, but I’ve always found them cumbersome to use.
