Facebook uninstall

Facebook wasn't working correctly, so I went to uninstall and reinstall like I always do, only to find that uninstall is no longer an option for Facebook. This makes me not even want the ******* thing on my phone anymore, so as soon as I get it off it will stay off. How can I uninstall Facebook from my Samsung Galaxy phone?

Did you happen to have any system/security updates since you had the phone? Manufacturers and carriers have been known to add more bloatware with their updates, which would explain it's inability to be uninstalled now.

Welcome to Android Central! Which Galaxy phone? If you go to Settings>Apps, and select Facebook, what buttons do you see? Or if you open your Play Store app and search for Facebook, do you see an Uninstall button there?
