Android Central Question

So I had UbreakIfix replace a cracked screen on my Pixel 2 XL late December. Now my digitizer doesn't work. Screen stays black while on calls.

Are they responsible with having to replace the screen since they're the ones that provided the new one (which I paid for)?

Also, if they decline to replace it, would Google know it's been replaced if I send it to them under warranty? I'm assuming having UbreakIfix voids my warranty even though they're their official partner.
