I use my gallery often. All of the sudden I noticed that many of my pictures were missing. I had my most recent pictures, then the next photos displayed were months old.

I decided to turn on the new display date feature and it is saying that they were all created on the same day. (aside from the photos in my camera folder).

This means I probably still have all of my photos, but now they are a jumbled mess and impossible to find.

It also separated a few of my albums into multiple different ones, it even did this with the default screenshot album.

    Anyone have this problem?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? Are your photos all stored on Internal Storage or an SD card?

Which picture viewing app are you using?

If your picture app is telling you the images are all created on the same day, it is probably showing you the file creation dates when it should be showing you the EXIF capture date. If you need a picture app that gets it right, try "piktures" by Diune:
