Photos on phone are showing a gallery symbol with an exclamation mark? Fix.

I took pictures on my phone, and they were showing up fine but then a few hours later all of the photos had a gallery symbol with an exclamation mark. I refreshed my phone, took out the SD card and put it back in, checked the photos on my computer, (which aren't showing up-it's showing error).

Any apps/websites that I can use to recover the photos?

Were they in internal storage or the SD card.

If they were on the SD card, try PhotoRec (instructions at PhotoRec Step By Step). If they're still there, PhotoRec will recover them. (It's a forensic app - it can recover anything that still exists. Oh, and it's free.)

It's going to take a long time, though - it grinds away at the card, but eventually recovers everything but the name of the file. (So if you have a lager card with thousands of files on it, it's going to take a while.)
