    After discovering syncing issues on my Samsung J5, I deleted my email account and then tried to add it on to the Samsung email app again. However, now there are no emails yet according to the device it is synced.

    I have tried a manual setup on POP3, IMAP and the exchange accounts but nothing is working...

    What type of email account are you using - is it Gmail or another provider?

    I've given up on stock email apps and use the Gmail app for all of my accounts now. It works flawlessly.

    I use Hotmail.

    Just added it to Gmail and it worked! Thank you
