Restart the phone, remove the Jetta's audio system from the phone's Bluetooth page if it's there, remove the phone from the Jetta's audio system if it's there, restart the phone, turn the car off for about 10 seconds, then try again. Make sure you have someone with you - one of you keep watching the phone, one watching the audio system. If one says "press " something, press it.

If it still doesn't work, see if your VW dealer's service department can help you. (Bluetooth is a pipe - what flows through that pipe, and how it flows, isn't specified that tightly yet. In a few years maybe, but not yet.)
