I don't know how to get my phone back online where do I start

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? What do you mean by "online"? Are you saying that your phone can't connect to your carrier's network, so that you can't make or receive calls, and can't access the internet? Or are you saying the phone is off and won't power back on?

I can't get my phone back onto the Internet, therfore I cannot connect with Facebook , utube, etc. I am able to receive and make phonecalls and text messages

How do I get my android phone back online, I was using my parents wi fi, and now I'm not there anymore, and I dont now how to switch it back

Failure to connect to the Internet while using home Wi-Fi may indicate an electrical failure somewhere, especially with old telephone wires. Your service provider's site will describe tests that you can perform. You could also speak to an advisor if necessary.

There may be other causes of trouble, but without more details, and no response to the question I asked, I hardly know how to answer.
