Why is the message and standard notification sound the same on the s9?

Hi guys. I just recently purchased the new s9 from having an S8 and there is now an issue being able to only choose one notification sound as opposed to different sounds for the messages and notifications. When you go to the settings menu inside messages you can choose the different tone but doesn't actually work only playing the standard notification sound. Anyones help would be amazing.

It should work. Try playing that notification from My Files (or just from Messages - choosing it should play it). If the file isn't readable, it will probably revert to the system-wide notification tone. If the file does work, that's another Samsung bug (like the failure of some widgets to not update to Daylight Saving Time).
