Do I need to add anti virus protection on my galaxy s9

I just got the new galaxy s9 and was wondering if I needed to add antivirus protection to it.

Most important perhaps is to be careful about the sites that you visit and the apps that you download and install.

If you go to your settings, you'll notice the 'device maintenance', through that there is a default anti virus with the phone (malware protection etc). Hope this helps

yeah! Agree with belodion it has been a lot of threads on this
Acentral forum. if we should or not install a third party antivirus

But as mentioned by Joshua Fisher1 the latest
phones comes up with a built in - Antivirus app

In my case I've my Pc and phone protected with Kaspersky
But at times when I do the Maintenance task a warning
says "Virus scanning is turned off" Turn it on to

protect the phone from malware. But I ignored
because I've my own antivirus protection app
