Contacts not displaying by most relevant results

On the contact search whenever you search for example the name Cyndi. It will pull up irrelevant contacts who’s name isn’t even close to Cyndi, then after scrolling you see some relevant results that do match the criteria. I noticed that the irrelevant results DO have Cyndi’s name but they have it in the Notes of that contact. Does anyone know of a way that this issue can be fixed? I have tried doing a hard reset and the problem still persisted, I cleared the Cache Partition and nothing. Do you know if there is a way to mess with the search settings so contact name is the first result or if there is a way to not sync the contact notes or anything that could resolve this issue. The phone is a Galaxy S7 Thank you. The contacts are synced through Exchange.
