Seems all of a sudden I have been getting maps and waterway charts in my gallery. They are creating their own place in my album. I deleted them, but then they come back with 10x more, will take hrs to delete. What the heck is going on? I have no charts or anything other than google maps. They are just pictures coming from somewhere, happened in the last couple days. Like I said, I deleted and less than 5 mins had 10x as many. HELP whats causing this?? Thanks
Welcome to Android Central! It's likely some app that is creating and caching these images. App developers are supposed to create ".nomedia" files in the directory their app uses to cache images, which instructs the system to ignore that directory when scanning for images to include in the gallery database.
In your gallery app, select one of those images and look at it's Info/Details, and see which directory it's saved to. That might give you an idea as to which app is responsible for them.
