Ever since the new Android Oreo update, some of my messages have not been sending. Is there a fix?

Since I installed the update Friday I have been sending messages to people but they are not receiving them. It happens every few messages, to a point where I need to send two duplicate messages just to be sure that it got there. It seems to only happen when the recipients are IPhone users. Is there a fix to this that anyone knows about? I have a Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.
