Android Central Question

Pixel 2 xl. 8.1.0 T-Mobile network.
All of a sudden 2 days ago, in my phone app Visual voicemail disappeared as an option. I went to the three dots, setting, and voicemail, it shows 2 options. Notifications and advanced. Neither of those show a visual voicemail enable disable. In advanced, it says service " your carrier", and is unchangeable. nothing in the phone app indicated visual VM. I have reboot my phone a number of times as well.
Very fustrating... Please assist if possible.

Welcome to Android Central! I just got an update to the Phone app, so check to make sure you're up to date (current version is 18.0.187698947).

No, not a system update -- I'm talking about the Phone app itself. Open the Play Store app, tap Menu>My Apps, then tap Installed and look for Phone. Is there an Update button there, or just Open?

Updated and reopened. Same problem still. I'll add additional screenshots... Sorry I misread your reply.

Do you have the actual T-Mobile Visual Voicemail app installed? I saw a post on Reddit saying that this app can actually interfere with the native visual voicemail for Pixels on T-Mobile.

Ok. Deleted the T-Mobile app and the VM unlocked the visual voicemail functionality again, Thank you very much ....that is super strange I have had the app on my phones for years, and all of a sudden it is the culprit.. well at least it's fixed. Thank you.
