Just wondering do I need to use a conversion unit or just the adapter one to change to 110v for my Samsuung Galaxy 6?

Welcome to the forums. Most charters are dual voltage, so you won't have problems using yours. It's possible that you'd need a plug adapter, though.

Look on the charger for pretty small print with an Input line and an Output line. Read the Input line. I'm pretty sure that it goes to 220 Volts (probably to 240 Volts), so you'll be fine. (As Javier said, the pins may be different, so you'll need a travel adapter.)
