Why is my downloaded movies from Kodi not showing on my downloaded file path ?

Hello,
Recently I bought an android box called Smart Genesis 2,Kit Kat version updated to Lollipop 5.1.1, It has many applications like Show Box , Kodi ,,, etc. The big problem is that when I download a movie or a show from Kodi add-ons, like Exodus, Covenant, after the download is finished successfully.
I searched for the movie in the download file path, I still cannot find it. I changed the download path from my External Seagate Hard Disk drive to my external SD Card and also to my internal device memory , still I can’t find my downloaded movies . I searched the downloads folder, also I checked all the files using File manager, and the movies are not there.
I reinstalled Kodi and all the add-ons, and the problem still exits , I cannot format the Box because I afraid to lose some information on the Backup. I welcome any suggestions.
