Continually getting notices if I want to backup a new folder. The content of the folder are the images in email signatures. Would prefer to turn the ability to automatically save images.

It depends on the app you're using, but it's usually in the app's settings and in the specific account you're using. You should see an option to automatically download attachments. HOWEVER if the images are inserted in the body of the e-mail (HTML format allows this), then the images will be downloaded if they are being automatically displayed (Gmail has an option, per sender, to allow this or not).
