Why is my phone draining fast and getting switched off even the battery shows 50%

I had the issue and I replaced the battery still the problem is continuing.The phone will get switched off in 50% 40% whatever the battery level is after that if I try to turn it on it will say low battery of 2% or 3%.When i connect the charger it will resume from the previous level say 50%.This is troubling me a lot , even replacing the new battery same thing is happening.Please can someone help.I am not using any applications which consumes more battery normal use only.Is there any issue with motherboard or any software issue?

It’s difficult to say. See whether it persists in Safe Mode. Tell us what happens. If no go, we can suggest other things.
