My father bought me a Samsung tablet A for Christmas. I signed into it thinking that I would be the owner but turns out someone else was already the owner. I have no idea who the owner is but the account is called Prince Charles and they set alarms for birthdays. Today I got an alarm saying it was their grandma Stella's birthday. So I decided I would reset the entire tablet and delete all of the information. I did it and tried to sign back in but the tablet keeps telling me to sign in using the owner's account. I asked my father if he bought a used one but he told me it was new. So basically I am locked out of my tablet. How do I take ownership of my tablet and is this a virus??

Without the cooperation of the person whose account is on the device, you will be unable to go any further.

If the tablet was indeed bought as a new device, it needs to be returned, since it's obviously not new.
