Stuck in power saving mode with broken phone

[Android Central Question]

My phone's screen broke while it was charging, i can't enter my swipe-key so i try it with a mouse, but because i was in ultra power saving mode because my phone's battery was empty earlier, i can't let it work. Then I try connecting it to my pc but to get onto my phone i have to enter my swipe key... can someone PLEASE help???

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? What if you leave it plugged into a wall outlet for a few hours to get the battery charged up? Maybe that will get it out of ultra power-saving mode. Then you can try using either a USB mouse or keyboard connected via OTG cable.

Ultimately, though, you might just have to get the screen repaired, if there's important data that's only on the phone and nowhere else.
