    Just lost a contact and don't know how this happened.How to undo an action on an android phone?

    Unfortunately you can't unless the contact was synced to a cloud service that supports previous state restoration or if you had the contacts backed up elsewhere with a 3rd party back up option. If you're saving your contacts to your Google account, for instance, you can go into the Contacts web page (contacts.google.com), log into your account, and roll out any change within the last 30 days. Just restore to before you deleted the contact and done.
