I dropped my galaxy S6 in mud

[Android Central Question]

So I dropped my phone in some mud and mud got in all of the ports. I take it inside and plug it in and a few minutes latter it boots into factory mode I know how to get out of it but should I turn it on now? I have it in rice right now hoping it will help. Got any ideas I'm open to anything.

Charging and rice both. By now you're probably going to need a new phone - it's too late for alcohol to help. (It was too late by the time you took it inside.) Sorry.
