I'd like to be able to stop text message popups during do not disturb time. I use my phone as my alarm clock and having a random text message show up on the screen will at best make the clock hard to read and at worst will wake me up due to the sudden increase in illumination. I've got do not disturb set already to mute the noise, but it seems to have no effect on the popups. Is this something that can be configured?

This is a Samsung S8 running Android 8.0.0. I use Message+ as my message app. I've got Tasker installed so if there's a Tasker way to do this I'm open to that as well.

    Thanks!

If your settings for messages is correct, you most likely have a rogue app. Boot into safe mode. If it stops happening, it's an app.
