In my Samsung Galaxy phone it shows 493MB as "other files". But actually there is only 54MB data when I do explore->select all->details

I have moved practically everything away from my device storage to the SD card. What is occupying the already crammed spaced in my phone?

"Other files" is the files your apps are keeping - for things like the data you entered into them, game scores, settings, etc. You can't see them because you may have execute rights to the folder the app is in, but you don't have read rights.

If you "reduce" those files, you'll find all the things you did and/or entered in your apps gone. You can do that at Settings/Apps. Choose each app, then clear cache and clear data. But you won't be happy.
