Hi, I spilt some cappucino on my desk today, and unfortunately, my phone was next to it and it got quite a bit of it on the phone, not sure if inside it, but when this happened, my phone no longer wants to charge and im not sure what to do to fix it

Ive put it in rice for now, tried putting it on the heater for 5 mins but im scared that this will damage other components so just put it in the rice, and also tried different chargers but no luck

I recently had charging problems due to the new update that happened on my phone but it fixed itself after a few hours

Ive got a galaxy s6 so i cant take the phone apart

    Any ideas?

It may need repairer attention, and if repairable, assessment for ongoing liquid damage.

Rice is a cellphone's arsenic. Only charging a wet phone will kill it faster.

If this were within a few minutes of the cappuccino getting into the phone, I'd suggest that you read Oh, no! My Phone got Wet!, but it's probably too late.
