Can I pair my mobile device with multiple devices at the same time?

I have a Samsung A3 with which I would like to know, if it is possible to connect more than one device. For example a smart watch and a pair of wireless headphones.

Depending on the type of connection for each - shouldn't be an issue. For example - I can't pair my Huawei Watch for phone or media audio AND a pair of headphones as both want to use the same audio profile (which MOST phones will not allow). However, I can keep my watch paired as a BTLE device (really doesn't show in the Bluetooth devices screen) to receive notifications and still pair/connect Bluetooth headphones to my phone for listening to music or other media.

SOME Samsung devices allow connection of multiple Bluetooth audio devices, the A3 may not be one.
