How do I mute other people during conversations?

Hey, my problem is quite simple. I often have necessity to talk with unpleasant folks. Most of them don't show any politeness, they interupt my every sentence. Is there an app that allows me to mute "theirs side" of call, for me to be heard by them and not another way around? Turning down my call bar speaker to minimum (it doesn't go below 25%) still makes them loud.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried using wired or Bluetooth headphones that have their own volume control? That might give you finer volume control. But this won't really solve your problem -- just because you don't hear the other person doesn't mean they're not still trying to interrupt you. And they'll still think you can hear them, so they might get even more upset with you if they think you're not listening to them.
