    I have a Samsung Galaxy S9. In the past few days, the number of notifications is not showing up in apps list and home screen (but does show up on Samsung's app's Edge). I'm not exactly sure of the cause of this problem but I did stop some services through developer mode to clean up some RAM. Can anyone help?

    Welcome to Android Central! Was one of those apps called BadgeProvider?

    I wouldn't worry about "cleaning RAM." Android is designed to manage RAM on its own, and it wants RAM to be mostly full, not empty. "Cleaning" RAM is at odds with how Android is designed, and can actually worsen performance and battery usage.

    Thanks for responding! I just registered for an account. I'm not sure if it was BadgeProvider, but in use details BadgeProvider currently has 0 min of use for both active and background. Any ideas on how to fix this?

    Nevermind, It's Samsung Experience Home's fault. Turned that on and everything is fine now. Thanks!
