Why is my phone not starting?

had oreo update on my Galaxy S7 this morning. after that can't get my phone to start when I switch it on. keeps blinking the Samsung logo. tried to force restart but still keeps blinking the logo. how can I get it back to work? any ideas? help appreciated very much. thanks
