Android Central Question

Just switched from iPhone 6 to Pixel 2 XL. Learning curve isn't awful but when I transferred my data a whole mess of movies embedded themselves in my Photos app on the Pixel 2. They aren't labeled (so I have to play them just to see what they are) and they do not show up in any video player app (like VLC) - although if I manually transfer an mp4 into my Pictures folder, I can name and play those in VLC, etc.

Where are all these dozens of movies that appear in Photos hiding? I want to delete or move them...

Thanks!

Tom

Welcome to Android Central! In the Google Photos app, select the video and tap the menu button at the upper right, then Info. That should tell you where it's saved locally. Keep in mind that if the video was backed up to your Google Photos in the cloud, it might just be in the cloud, and not saved locally on the phone.
