My moto z force suddenly won't allow my BT earbuds to connect same time, keeps disconnecting one.

Hello everyone, really hope someone can help me with this.

Originally my phone, Droid moto z Force, would have no problem connecting ear buds that require pairing each side.

Now, it will only pair one at a time. If I try to connect the other side, it disconnects the connected one.

Detailed version..
I connect the left ear first, once connected I connect the right ear. Instantly it says left is disconnected and right is connected now.

I have tried multiple pairs of ear buds, all do the same.

I tried clearing caches of the system BT settings. Nothing helped.

I then did a factory restart and that didn't work either. Still happening.
