2017 Samsung Galaxy A3 - text message issue

[Android Central Question]

Hi,

I have had this device now for 4 months & my messages which I try & send out on it disappear, but it still takes my credit & I never know if my friend has received them. This morning my friend tried texting me so I opened the message app & they disappeared too? So when I tried deleting them as well it wouldn't let me.

Bring the phone to your carrier, so that they can determine if it's a phone issue or a carrier issue. (If it's a carrier issue, only they can fix it.)
