I purchased my Nexus in Feb 2013 and purchased several movies and music cds. I now have a laptop using Windows 10. How can I access the music and movies on the laptop.

Well, that depends on which service you used to purchase the media. If you purchased through Google Play Music and Google Play Movies, the files downloaded to your device through the apps are encrypted and only available to that device. BUT the same purchases are available in the cloud for any other registered device to access, so just log into http://play.google.com on your computer (unfortunately no native apps for W10 are available so you'll have to do with the browser route), sign into the same account used to purchase the content, and it's there!

For music, you CAN download an MP3 version directly to your computer. Movies, you will have to watch through the browser, and I'm not entirely sure you can download for offline access on W10 (but if you can, it will still be encrypted and linked to that single computer).
