    Well I still haven't received Android 8.0 update on my S8+, reached out to Samsung support, all they said was that I should wait. I also tried updating with Smart Switch, but that also said my device is up to date. any ideas?

    Well, it doesn't sound like you can do anything else but wait, right?

    Is your phone carrier-branded or unlocked?

    It's not stuck. Your provider just hasn't pushed out the update yet.
