    Are you using the Gmail app, and are you using a Gmail account? Or is the default Samsung email client? Either way, you should be able to solve the problem by completely removing the account from your email client and adding it back as a new account. Just make sure you have the correct server configuration details from your email service provider (ingoing and outgoing server names, ports, security protocols).
