SD card problems

I have a samsung galaxy tab a 10.1 2016 (T585) and I've been having some sd card problems. If i try to download a large file (500mb+) browser freezes and the location where its downloaded (in the sd card). Then i can't move files at all to it, even if i format it. Then after some time it starts working again but it'll stop once i download a large file, i tried using an alternative file manager when i couldn't move files to the sd card and it worked, but apps like the samsung my files and gallery app crashed. The sd card is a kingston 32gb HC

Downloads go to internal storage, regardless of what you may have that claims to download them to the SD card. (If you're running something like that, the file gets downloaded to internal storage, then gets moved to the SD card.) That's part of Android and no app is going to change it. Check how much free internal storage you have.
