Struggling to load new firmware on Galaxy S6

[Android Central Question]

The phone got stuck on the Samsung Logo screen, forever.
Does not want to shut down (holding the Power button in for very long, few minutes)
Only goes into 'Downloading' mode (Power + Volume Down + Home)
Hard reset does not work (Power + Volume Up + Home)

Got it connected now to PC, with Odin 3-10.
Downloaded the firmware from Sammobile (tried several different versions for the country selection - was not sure which to choose) - all gave the same result in Odin.
FAIL.

Tried to do a Re-Partition then as well.
Got the PIT file as best as possible, restarted the Odin process.
But still - FAIL.

Any ideas or help will be highly appreciated - PLEASE.

Sounds like an eMMC (internal storage) failure - hardware. The cheapest repair would be to hsve the motherboard replaced.
