I get total 52.18 GB out of 54.92,
But looking into the individual parts looks like some of them are vary very inaccurate.
    Especially the 'Images' part.
On the menu it shows that I have 45.69 GB images, but going inside there isn't a total of less than 1 MB images left on the device....

    How can I fix this?

But looking into the individual parts
is not the way to find out what's going on. It gives you a false picture.

You have to run a terminal app and see how many partitions storage is divided into, and how large the userdata partition is. (And since my phones are all rooted, I can't be sure, but I think you have to be rooted to see that.) That's all you have to start. System apps, like Phone, Contacts, etc., are installed to that partition, so what you have to use is that partition minus anything installed on it. Since different manufacturers partition storage differently, a 64GB phone can have 12GB for the user or it can have 4GB for the user. Just looking at Settings/Storage doesn't tell the whole picture.
